Introduction
On 5th November 2007,
the president launched Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR), with credit
guarantee facility from government through PT. Askrindo and Perum
Jamkrindo. The channel of the bank executing are Bank BRI, Bank
Mandiri, Bank BNI, Bank BTN, Bank Syariah Mandiri, and Bank Bukopin.
This KUR is a financing facility that can be accessed by MSMEs and
Cooperative, especially those with a decent effort but bankable. The
point is that business have a good business prospects and have
ability to restore. MSMEs and Cooperative are expected to access the
KUR are moving in productive business sector such as agriculture,
fisheries and marine, forestry and financial services save loan.
Channeling of KUR can be done directly, the point is MSMEs and
Cooperative can access KUR directly in Branch Office or Sub-Branches
of the bank executing. To better approximate the service to micro
enterprises, then the channeling of KUR can also be done indirectly,
the point is micro enterprises can access the KUR through
microfinance institutions and Cooperative KSPIUSP, or through other
program linkage activities which collaborating with the bank
executing.
Having regard to the expediency of KUR, for the increasingly
expanded distribution with procedures the more easily and process is
faster. Beside that, beginning in 2010 the bank executing of KUR
became 19 banks: PT. BRI, PT. Mandiri, PT. BNI, PT. BTN, PT. Bank
Syariah Mandiri, dan PT. Bukopin, plus with 13 regional development
banks (Bank Pembangunan Daerah/BPD): PT. Bank DKI, PT. BPD West Java
and Banten, PT. BPD Central Java, PT. BPD East Java, BPD DI
Yogyakarta, PT. BPD West Nusa Tenggara, PT. BPD West Sumatera, PT.
BPD West Kalimantan, PT. Development Bank Central Kalimantan, PT.
BPD South Kalimantan, PT. North Sulawesi, PT. BPD Papua.
Our hope, may this publications of manual KUR become an effective
medium of socialization in organizing Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR).
